Design Development

Here your project design comes into sharper focus and the character begins to emerge. Loose sketches mature into scaled (but not dimensioned) floor plans, elevations, building sections, and detail drawings. You review your plans over several meetings, contributing your comments. Exterior and interior building materials, architectural style, and proportions are explored and integrated during this design phase.  Once your thoughts are incorporated into the design, you may request construction documents (provided in the next phase). 

This is when many clients solicit preliminary construction prices and compare them to their budget. We are happy to draw up a preliminary pricing package of early specifications and material lists to provide to your contractors.
