CORA: The Congress of Residential ArchitectureThe purpose of the Congress of Residential Architecture (CORA) is to provide a continuing forum for advocating and enhancing residential architecture by all individuals, both professionals and non-professionals, who share a common interest in improving the quality of the homes and communities we live in. Believing that homeowners have the right to clean indoor air, to pursue alternative sources of energy, to a sustainable regional environment, to regionally—determined residential growth for their locality, to uphold an architectural standard in their neighborhoods, to property improvements free from tax burdens, to a home that is ideally suited to their life, to information on sensible design techniques, to residential design developments that promote safer, happier communities. Lindsay Daniel, and other residential architects, spearheaded the formation of a Charlotte CORA chapter that meets 6 x /year.
